The new 148bhp 1160cc motor is more responsive, more energetic, lighter and more vibey compared to the previous 139bhp 1215cc Tiger. In almost every measurable respect the new motor is better, and its contribution to the new Tiger’s package in terms of compact balance and handling dynamic is critical; Triumph couldn’t have built the 2022 Tiger with the old motor – and, as a whole, the new bike is a superior machine.

Being the Rally Explorer, this is the all singing and dancing model from the Tiger 1200 stable, featuring the 30L fuel tank giving you roughly 375 miles between filling the tank and Showas semi-active suspension there is a lot to love about this Tiger!

Featuring different rider modes and a riders own mode where you can tailor the throttle response, traction control, ABS and suspension to your riding preferences and being a Triumph, it is simple and easy to navigate and very user friendly, riding a big Triumph has always been easy and this is easiest one yet even with the 21 inch front wheel!

The bike is also 25kgs lighter then the previous model and on a big heavy adventure bike those 25kgs lost, make it a lot easier to live with moving in and around the driveway and garage.
