Power delivery-wise, there are no dramas anywhere, just characterful, fuel injected V4 engine effectiveness. From virtually nothing up to seven thousand the VFR just gets on with it, no messing.

Then the VTEC variable valve timing chimes in, but instead of a sudden jump, it’s more an aural experience these days: the ridge is smoothed out, instead the V4 opens its lungs, stretches forward and starts howling a clattery, wooden bark above 9000rpm that only a Honda V4 VTEC can.
